Bug infested
This product arrived with weavels in it. If I was to break the seal there is a good chance they would hatch and infect the flour etc. in my kitchen, sealed or not. I am referring to those little white moths that fly around that look like little stealth bombers. I have so far been unable to return this item.

Cheaper than my grocery store, thank you Amazon! This is a good pasta alternative, and much quicker to make. It is one of my pantry staples. The less processed the wheat is, the healthier it is. Couscous isn’t as heavy in your stomach as pasta is, as well.

Tasty and Reliable
This couscous is great you need something in a hurry to “go with” your main dish. I’ve been using the brand for years and it is always tasty and reliable. It cooks up in under 20 minutes, including time to rest and absorb all the moisture. I usually make it with instant chicken broth instead of water for extra flavor and add a little extra virgin olive oil as it cooks. Save the plastic container for storing other dry food items like rice or beans. The couscous may seem a little pricey but it’s worth it.

Always in my pantry
I always struggle to find this kind of regular cous cous in the local groceries and supermarket (the pearl cous cous is always available, but I don’t like it) so, after I try this brand the first time I repurchased it. Bland or not
This is a product I have bought for years. My digestive system has given me trouble for 50 years. Sometimes I have to eat bland. I can eat this plain. If I am doing well, it can be used with all types of spices, meats, veggies etc. I like it plain or with some grated cheddar as a side instead of potatoes or rice.

Great value compared to the cardboard boxes of couscous usually offered in stores
I like that this comes in a big jar instead of cardboard box. It stays fresher and lasts longer because of the bigger quantity, and once it’s used up the jar comes in handy for other storage.Couscous goes great hot with steamed vegetables and makes a satisfying meal. I like it better than rice. I also use it to make cold couscous salad with tomatos, cucumbers, onion, and feta cheese wiith vinegar and oil dressing for either a side dish or a complete meal.

I tried every Couscous there is. I liked the Bob’s Couscous the best. This one is bit harder and not buttery like Bob’s and not fluffy. Sorry…. But this is cheaper than Bob’s

Plain, Basic Couscous
Couscous is a pasta, not a grain. The food “so nice they named it twice” is a staple dish in many places, and is so easy to prepare you might find yourself eating it multiple times a week. Indeed, all you really need to do in order to cook it is to add boiling water and leave it covered for a few minutes. I suggest adding either a little olive oil or some butter, so that the couscous is less dry and easier to mix around. This particular container of couscous is very basic, but it’s all you need if you’re just starting off. The size of the container is sufficient for this to be on the borderline of bulk, but it won’t last you a full year, or even a month, depending on your appetite. Note that this is not made with whole wheat.

Tasty.
I love couscous to make french taboule. It’s plenty of recipes with couscous and it gives space for creativity. I cannot fail to note the main feature of couscous – the simplicity of its preparation. Simply pour boiling water over, cover with a lid and wait 5 minutes.Usually I add butter, tomato, olives, lemon zest and parsley. That combination works perfectly for delicious result.

Rancid!
Looking forward to enjoying a brand of couscous I haven’t had for a while. Cooking for guests but when I opened the container it smelled like rancid wheat. I tested a sample and it tasted bad. We had rice for dinner instead. So disappointing!
